Introduction :

Writer Riko receives a call from the police that her older brother has died unexpectedly. As she travels to where his brother had been living, painful memories of their troubled relationship begin to resurface. Riko reunites for the first time in seven years with her brother's ex-wife, Kanako, his daughter Marina, and son Ryoichi, who is now in temporary child welfare care.
